Autumn Gold Pixels Handwoven Silk Scarf

Made with the finest hand-dyed silk yarns, this handwoven Autumn Gold scarf, with its myriad shades of mustard, rust and green, has an iridescent, shimmery quality that is full of movement. It is woven with a hand-dyed soft gold weft further intensifying the colours. The contrasting “pixel squares”, hand-painted with dyes in vivid shades of mustard, rust and green are incorporated using a supplementary warp technique.
 
This piece, made from 100% silk at 40 ends (threads) per inch, is individually designed and has been exquisitely woven on a traditional 8 shaft floor loom, resulting in a soft, luxurious, sumptuously coloured silk textile. Every scarf is finished with hand hemstitching, a fringe and a “Skye Silks” label.
