Handwoven 'Chestnut Gold' Pixel Design Silk Stole shown hanging

Handwoven 'Chestnut Gold' Pixel Design Silk Stole

Made with the finest hand-dyed silk yarns, this scarf, having shades of rich chestnut in the background then sprinkled with golden squares, is meticulously woven with a hand-dyed chestnut weft further intensifying the background colour. The contrasting “pixel squares”, hand-painted with dyes in vivid shades of gold, orange and yellow, are incorporated using a supplementary warp technique.

This wider width piece can be worn as a scarf or opened out and shown off as a stole.

This piece, made from 100% silk, is individually designed and has been exquisitely woven at 40 ends (threads) per inch on a traditional 8 shaft floor loom, resulting in a soft, luxurious, sumptuously coloured silk textile. Every scarf is finished with hand hemstitching, a fringe and a “Jaine Mahon” label.

Your scarf is a unique work of art. It will be beautifully packaged in a “Jaine Mahon Handwoven Silk from Skye” gift box and sent first class. As with every precious purchase, the package is sent special delivery and is tracked.

Overseas customers: this item will incur an additional cost of £20 to contribute towards the special delivery shipping and insurance costs.
