Handwoven 'In the Pink' Pixel Design Silk Stole

Made with the finest hand-dyed silk yarns, this 'In The Pink' scarf, with its shades of hot pink and scattering of blue and plum squares that dance across the surface, has a lively quality that is full of movement and is woven with a hand-dyed fuschia weft further intensifying the background colour. The contrasting rainbow of “pixel squares” are incorporated using a supplementary warp technique. 
 
This wider width piece can be worn as a scarf or opened out and shown off as a stole.
 
This piece, made from 100% silk, is individually designed and has been exquisitely woven at 40 ends (threads) per inch on a traditional 8 shaft floor loom, resulting in a soft, luxurious, sumptuously coloured silk textile. Every scarf is finished with hand hemstitching, a fringe and a “Jaine Mahon” label.
