Handwoven 'Lime Rainbow' Pixel Design Silk Stole

Made with the finest hand-dyed silk yarns, this scarf, having shades of fresh lime and rainbow of multi coloured squares, has a lively quality that is full of movement and is woven with a hand-dyed pretty lime weft further intensifying the rich background colour. The contrasting rainbow of “pixel squares”, hand-painted with dyes in vivid shades of red, blue, green, gold, orange, yellow and pink are incorporated using a supplementary warp technique.
 
This wider width piece can be worn as a scarf or opened out and shown off as a stole.
This piece, made from 100% silk, is individually designed and has been exquisitely woven at 40 ends (threads) per inch on a traditional 8 shaft floor loom, resulting in a soft, luxurious, sumptuously coloured silk textile. Every scarf is finished with hand hemstitching, a fringe and a “Jaine Mahon” label.
