Handwoven 'Misty Blue Shimmer' Pixel Design Silk Stole

Made with the finest hand-dyed silk yarns, this Misty Blue Shimmer scarf, with its shades of slate blue and scattering of soft pink, blue, mint, silver and lilac squares that dance across the surface, has a lively quality that is full of movement and is woven with a hand-dyed silvery slate blue weft further intensifying the background colour. The contrasting rainbow of “pixel squares” are incorporated using a supplementary warp technique. 
 
This wider width piece can be worn as a scarf or opened out and shown off as a stole.
 
This piece, made from 100% silk, is individually designed and has been exquisitely woven at 40 ends (threads) per inch on a traditional 8 shaft floor loom, resulting in a soft, luxurious, sumptuously coloured silk textile. Every scarf is finished with hand hemstitching, a fringe and a “Jaine Mahon” label.
