More than 4 Weaving Course Spring 2025

Spring Course: Monday 24th – Wednesday 26th February 2025
 
Handweaving course for weavers looking to progress from 4 shafts up to 8 shaft weaves for confident beginners and intermediates.
Tuition from Jaine at Skye Silks Handweaving Studio in Dunvegan. Max 4 students.
 
Tuition 10am-4pm Monday-Wednesday
All materials provided, includes use of all necessary equipment.  Tea, coffee, cakes or cookies.

The course will cover weaving on 8 shaft table looms including choosing yarns, threading the heddles, sleying the reed, tying on, weaving a selection of 5 -8 shaft weaves and looking at 8 shaft weave patterns.
