Seafoam Confetti Handwoven Silk Scarf

Made with the finest hand-dyed silk yarns, this handwoven Confetti scarf, with its myriad shades of seafoam and jade, has an iridescent, shimmery quality that is full of movement. It is woven with a hand-dyed soft jade weft further intensifying the colours. The contrasting “pixel squares”, hand-painted with dyes in vivid shades of blues, gold, magenta, orange, burgundy and lime green are incorporated using a supplementary warp technique.
 
This piece, made from 100% silk at 80 ends (threads) per inch, is individually designed and has been exquisitely woven on a traditional 8 shaft floor loom, resulting in a soft, luxurious, sumptuously coloured silk textile. Every scarf is finished with hand hemstitching, a fringe and a “Jaine Mahon” label.
